OUR FATHER WHO SAVES HIS PEOPLE FRON OPPRESSION

The book of Isaiah chapter 14 verse 3 says this;

On the day the Lord gives you relief from your suffering and turmoil and from the harsh labor forced on you,

This verse, the Lord God, in the context of Him having compassion on His people, brings their days of captivity to completion and rescues  them out of the harsh conditions they had been subjected to under the power of the king of Babylon.

The king of Babylon ( standing in for the anti-Christ ) is defeated by the Lord and dark reign of terror is terminated.

The continuation of the passage in verse 4 then prophecies what the response of those emmancipated will  be;

you will take up this taunt against the king of Babylon: How the oppressor has come to an end! How his fury has ended!

The people of God will rejoice over the end of the regime of the adversary and the deposing of the king of Babylon.

Amen.
