THE LORD OUR COUNSELOR 

The LORD gives His people counsel. If we incline our ear to Him, He will offer  us guidance on the matters of our lives that confound us.

In the great Messianic chapter of Isaiah, our Lord is described as the "Wonderful Counselor". The verse says this:

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.                             - Isaiah 9 verse 6.

The Lord will give wisdom to whomever asks as part of His portfolio under His Messianic title.

In Psalm 32 verse 8 it says, "I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you." 

This discloses the fact that the Lord's customized counsel to us is formulated with close observation and keen understanding of each of us personally.

Let us always ask the Lord for His guidance and wait patiently for Him to issue it. There is no counsel like the counsel of Him who knows the end from the beginning.
