OUR FATHER WHOSE GLORY WILL APPEAR OVER HIS PEOPLE

The book of Isaiah chapter 60 verse 2 says this;

See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you.

There is an approaching time when darkness will envelope the whole earth that will echo the darkness that was upon the surface of the deep described in Genesis chapter 1 verse 2.

Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.

Also coming is a deep (or thick) darkness that will be over the peoples of the earth but, while in this state, the Lord will rise upon us and His glory will appear over us replacing the darkness.

In fact, so bright will the Lord's glory shine on His people, that the nations of the earth will be drawn to them as verse 5 says; 

“Nations will come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising.
